The privacy of our users is very important. We (“HangZone”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) strive to keep a simple understandable privacy policy, to ensure that our users can comfortably enjoy our software applications (“apps”) and www.hangzone.com (“site”). This Privacy Policy (“policy”) is limited to information collected or received through our users’ (“users” or “you”) use of our apps and site. We are not responsible for third party people or companies.
By using our apps or site, you agree to this policy.
Our Site
We don’t require you to provide us with any information to access this site. HangZone may employ cookies to track website usage. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables a site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
Our Apps
For our apps that have user profiles, we’ll store your username and related login information that you provide us. If you connect to social media in one of our apps, we’ll only collect enough information to enable the applicable social features within the app. Some of our apps collect crash logs and track user activity within apps. This data is not associated with specific users. The data helps us fix bugs and understand how our users interact with our apps.
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Our app HZCare has applicable safeguards to store and transfer data in compliance with HIPAA. No data can ever be completely secure from attack, though, so choose a strong password, don’t share your password with other people, and logout of the app when you’re not using it. We are not responsible for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
Social Media Services
You can connect to certain services in some of our apps, including Facebook, Game Center, and Google Play Game Services. We may collect information allowed by those services, including your name, user identification number, location, sex, birthday, email, profile picture URL, and the user identification number of your friends that also use our apps to help you connect with them. In some apps, we may offer you the chance to invite friends through these services. The required contact information will only be used for the invite process. We can delete any data related to these services at your request—just email us at info@hangzone.com.
Analytics
Many of our apps use mobile analytics programs to understand how our users interact with our apps. These programs track where the users downloaded the apps, how often they open the apps, and what sort of actions they do in the apps. We don’t link these analytics to any personal information you submit.
If you email regarding any customer service issues, we’ll have your email address. We may contact you regarding your game experience. If you don’t want to receive email from us, let us know at info@hangzone.com.
Push Notifications
We may send you game updates through push notifications. You can turn these off in your device settings.
Contests
We may provide the opportunity to participate in a sweepstakes or contest. Participation is optional. We may request contact information from participants, like a shipping address for prizes.
Ads
Some of our apps feature advertisements delivered by third parties. These ad networks may collect and record certain information to show you more relevant ads. They’ll only collect information that’s consistent with Apple and Google’s guidelines for the iOS and Android platforms, respectively. We’re not responsible for the collection policies of third parties.
Disclosure of Information
We may share anonymous or aggregate information about you with business partners or other third parties. We may share your data with companies we engage to perform services, such as analytics. If we’re required by law, we may be forced to share your information. If we’re involved in a merger, your information may be shared with the other party. If you consent, we may share your information with other third parties.
Final Thoughts
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, although we cannot guarantee its security. We keep your information as long as needed to provide the best experience in our apps. If you ever want us to remove your information, please contact us at info@hangzone.com. We don’t intend to collect data from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian suspects his or her child has provided us with information without his or her consent, please contact us at info@hangzone.com. We’ll delete such information within a reasonable time. We may update the privacy policy as needed.
